ROCK ( (Ropes and Outdoor Challenges for Kids)
Cooperative games, trust building, group initiatives and ropes course elements provide campers with opportunities to exercise critical thinking skills, respect and appreciate teammates, and build self-esteem and leadership skills through exciting activities on the ground and high in the trees. All campers participate in ROCK every day, but the high ropes course elements are limited to campers age 9 or older.

Aquatics
All campers enjoy free swim every day (twice a day in extremely hot weather). In addition, we provide daily swim lessons to all 6 and 7 year old campers and the option to take swim lessons for campers age 8 and older. Our caring, experienced swim instructors help even the most nervous campers to improve their swimming skills. All aquatics activities take place under the supervision of certified lifeguards.

Sports and Games
Campers are introduced to a wide range of sports and creative, team-oriented games. Our goal is not to develop champions, but to use sports as a vehicle for campers to learn values, gain confidence, and develop exercise habits for life. With everything from archery and kickball to basketball and soccer, campers develop new skills while having a ball!

Environmental Science
Our environmental science program strives to develop in all campers an awareness and appreciation of the great outdoors through hiking, outdoor living skills, and science activities. Campers explore the quaking bog, learn about protected species, maintain a vegetable and flower garden, participate in orienteering treasure hunts, and much more. Campers are surrounded by nature all day at camp, but our environmental science program makes certain that they take time to notice, appreciate, and learn from our amazing setting in the Blue Hills Reservation.
